You cannot measure success by society's standards.
The Bible describes God as "the only wise God" (Jude 1:25).
Following Him means embracing wisdom that the world often cannot understand.
Don't Let Society Define Your Journey
Society has expectations about how life should unfold.
People expect you to graduate by a certain age.
Get married by a certain age.
Build wealth by a certain age.
But God's timetable is different for every person.
For example, while many people marry early, God may intentionally lead someone else to marry later because it aligns with His perfect purpose.
Listening more to society than to God is a dangerous mistake.
People judge based on appearances.
God judges according to purpose.
He knows where you should be in every season of your life.
Instead of comparing yourself with others, spend time with God and follow His leading—even when you cannot see how everything will work out.
God Is Pleased With Faith
God delights in those who trust Him without knowing every detail of the journey.
He is pleased with those who obey before they understand.
As Scripture reminds us:
"Without faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith is believing God's Word before you see the results.
Faith Requires Action
To complete the earlier story, the pastor obeyed God's instruction.
